On Thursday, August 19th at 1pm EST, the Ohio Person-Centered Care Coalition will host their next free webinar entitled, "Person-Centered Care and Dementia," which will feature Carole Klingler, BSN, RN, CDP, CEO at A Dementia Friendly LIFE.
People Living with Dementia (PLWD) often benefit from sensory stimulation and support to comprehend and respond to caregivers. This program offers tips and techniques to promote a positive encounter with PLWD.
Webinar participants will be able to:
• Define person-centered care
• Acknowledge the impact of person-centered care and feelings of wellbeing
• Name three ways to promote wellbeing and a sense of connectedness in a person living with dementia
